hahahaha hey guys looks like I’m dropping followers like leaves in fall

just wanted to explain why I’ve been gone so long: I’m trying to avoid X-Men: Days of Future Past spoilers. Once I see it, I’ll be back.

You guys are great, and I really appreciate all of you.

I felt this was sufficiently important.
The progression of their hairstyles through the games!
Phoenix's hair, when he was in college, has spikes that are more rounded- His hairline is also softer compared to that of his older incarnations! At the beginning of the first game, he’s got a sharper look to his hair, though it’s flattened out a little bit.
In AA:DD, Phoenix’s hair gets much more tame (probably from years under that beanie!), but besides his new hair curl in the front, his hair gets a slightly softer look and his hairline is higher than it used to be.
As time passes, Edgeworth's bangs get progressively longer, and they also grow to be less angular. His hairline also gets to be less sharp: Bratworth has higher widow's peaks than his DD counterpart does.

IMPORTANT OC QUESTION

which of your ocs would accidentally put ‘yard sard’ on a sign while trying to put ‘yard sale’

Tommy. And then he’d try again and it would say “yale sale.”

(via feels-and-things)

the only time it’s acceptable to insult someone by calling them “dickless” is when you gave them a dick to take care of for you and they lost it. how dare you lose that penis you irresponsible person

  • me watching X-Men: where the fuck is Destiny
  • me watching X2: where the fuck is Destiny
  • me watching The Last Stand: where the fuck is Destiny
  • me watching First Class: I love this movie but where the fuck is Destiny
  • me watching trailers for Days of Future Past: ok cool but where the fuck is Destiny

I think one of the reasons the New 52 Batrogues infuriate me is that pre-reboot Batman comics handled mental illness and other mental struggles relatively well.

The Riddler had “real” OCD (and had it since the Silver Age, no less!), Two-Face had “real” DID (especially in the Animated Series), Harley was in a “real” abusive relationship, Mister Freeze had “real” depression (and, I would argue, was on the autism spectrum as well).

Now it’s just “they’re all crazy who even gives a fuck all crazy is the same right? I mean, the Joker doesn’t have a specified mental illness and he’s really really popular so they all should be like that!”

As a fan I find it boring—it’s a return to the old days, where every character had similar motivations and differed only in the paint job. Heroes wanted to fight bad guys, bad guys wanted to harm people, and that was all there was.

As a storyteller I find it disappointing—there are so many stories that could be told about unique people with relatable struggles. There are far fewer stories that can be told about people who just do whatever “crazy” thing the editors want them to do.

And as a mentally ill person, I find it flat-out insulting.

rules:

1. Don’t fuck with Otacon around me.

2. Don’t fuck with Mister Freeze around me.

3. that’s it those are the rules

pokemondarkcrystal said: what did you think about the new 52 reboot for Mr. Freeze?

Dumb, dark, and unnecessary. Don’t make it about a tragic love story, make it about an obsessed freak. The DC Universe is the posterchild of desperately trying to look mature while instead acting immature.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Apparently they reeeeeeally reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally needed to tell the story of an obsessed man who latches onto random women and begins deluding himself that he’s in love with them because there are just SO MANY UNTAPPED WELLS OF DRAMATIC POTENTIAL in that concept (by which I mean opportunities to treat female characters like objects)…

OH WAIT THEY ALREADY HAD SOMEONE LIKE THAT HIS NAME IS JERVIS TETCH AKA THE MAD HATTER SO FUCK OFF

Leave Victor and Nora alone, DC. They’ve already been through enough shit.
